On Android and iPhone browsers 1win.ng opens in a dark theme with a fixed bar at the bottom: Menu, Home, Casino, Free money, Sports. Casino takes you straight to the lobby, and any section we wanted was one or two taps from there. Poker is not inside the casino; it has its own item in the main menu.
On 13.10 we went through the home screen and the game list without an account. Looking costs nothing, but a real-money round needs an account with a naira balance. Sign-up asks for a +234 number and a password of at least 8 characters, and the sign-up steps with a +234 number walks through each screen.
The counts move between visits
On 13.10 the home screen tile read “View all 14,895 games” and the 1win games tile showed 841, a few more than five days earlier. The live casino changed far more: 115 games in the live section on 08.10, but a “1,072 games” tile on the 13.10 home screen. We cannot tell from the outside whether the two screens count tables in different ways or the section really grew, so treat both numbers as a rough size, not a promise.
Three ways to find a game
Use search when you know the title, Providers when you know the studio, and categories when you only know the type of game.
Search by name
The search field finds games by title. Typing “Gates of Olympus 1000” brought that slot up. The same field found the crash games Aviator, JetX, Spaceman and Lucky Jet, the last one made by 1win Games.
Providers tab, A to Z
The Providers tab lists studios alphabetically. In the lobby and that list we noted Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Hacksaw, Nolimit City, NetEnt, Red Tiger, BGaming, PG Soft, 3 Oaks and Evolution, along with smaller names such as 100HP Gaming, 1spin4win, 4ThePlayer, 7777 Gaming, Evoplay, Spinomenal and Endorphina.
Categories in the lobby
On 13.10 the lobby was split into 1win games, Fortune, Quick games, Popular, Slots, Live casino, Only on 1win, Bonus buy, Bonus wagering, New, Big Draw: slots, Big Draw: crash games and All games. “Only on 1win” holds branded versions such as Gates of 1win and 1win Bonanza from Pragmatic. 1win’s own shelf includes Lucky Jet, Mines 1win, Rocket Queen and Speed-n-Cash.
The Popular list also shows how many people sit in each game. At the moment we looked on 13.10, Aviator had 1,417 players online, Fortune Tiger 994 and Fortune Rabbit 947. That is a snapshot of one minute, useful for seeing what is busy and nothing more.
In the Popular list, 577 players in it on 13 Oct. Demo play marked, so you can try the feature round on play credits first.
One of the busiest PG Soft titles that day, 716 players. No demo mark, like the other PG Soft games we saw, so the first round costs naira.

Demo mode before you spend naira
Book of Dead showed a “Demo mode” button on its game screen, and on 13.10 the game list marked demo play on most slots and quick games. Demo rounds use play credits, so you can learn the buttons, the stake selector and the bonus round for free.
Two groups had no demo mark in the list: PG Soft titles and live tables. That catches people out, because Fortune Tiger and Fortune Rabbit are PG Soft games and were among the busiest in the lobby. If you want to practise first, check the mark before you open the game, and remember that a good demo run tells you nothing about the next paid one.
Live tables and game shows
The live casino runs tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live. On 08.10 we saw roulette, blackjack, a 1WIN ONE Blackjack table, baccarat and the game shows Crazy Time, Funky Time and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand. On 13.10 the list also showed Mega Ball, MONOPOLY Live, Immersive Roulette, Lightning Storm and BlackjackX, and Crazy Time had 473 players in it at that moment.
The lobby shows no minimum bet for any table, so check the table’s own betting panel before the first round. A live table is a video stream, so on mobile data it uses far more than a slot; switch to Wi-Fi for a long session if you can.
Reading RTP and the cost of a session
RTP (return to player) is the share of stakes a game is built to pay back over a very long run. The 1win game list shows no RTP, so the figures you can quote are the studios’ own: 96.50% for Gates of Olympus 1000, 97% for Aviator and up to 96.08% for Crazy Time. Studios can release one game in several RTP versions, so open the info panel inside the game to see the one you are playing.
Worked example
You play 200 spins at ₦100 on a slot with a published RTP of 96.50%. You stake 200 × ₦100 = ₦20,000, and the long-run average return on that amount is ₦20,000 × 0.965 = ₦19,300, a cost of ₦700. Your own 200 spins can land far above or far below that average.
Paying for casino play and cashing out
The cashier showed casino top-ups through local wallets, bank transfer, USSD and cards, with no crypto in the NGN list.
Getting money out has one extra gate. Pressing “Withdraw” opens “Identity verification” before any withdrawal form, so have your document ready before you need the money; the casino cash-out and identity check guide lists the documents support named.

The game choice is very wide and the tools to search it are there: name search, a full studio list, a dozen categories and demo mode on most titles. Points come off for missing information at the point of choice: no RTP in the list, no table limits in the lobby, demo missing on some of the busiest games, and counts that do not match from one screen to the next.
It suits a phone player who knows what to look for and is willing to open the info panel of a game before staking.
Who should skip it: anyone who wants every condition visible in the lobby before choosing, or who wants to practise on PG Soft games or live tables first.

Do I need an account to look at 1win casino games?
No, not to look. On 13.10 we read the home screen and the game list without logging in; only real-money play needs an account and a balance.
Can I use the welcome bonus on every casino game?
Not according to independent reviews, which say only games in the lobby's "Bonus wagering" category count towards bonus play. The casino-side bonus terms show what the card itself says.
What are the "Big Draw" categories?
On 13.10 the lobby had two of them, Big Draw: slots and Big Draw: crash games. We did not open their draw rules, so read the terms inside the category before playing for a prize.
Are there casino tournaments on 1win.ng?
Yes, four tournaments were active when we looked, plus the Lucky Drive prize draw on the home screen. Spinomenal's Spinoleague in the lobby quoted a prize pool of €12,000,000, in euros.
Does the casino work the same on an iPhone?
Yes, it runs in the phone browser on iPhone as well. On 13.10 the iPhone version of 1win.ng showed a "1win for iOS" item that adds the site to the home screen through Safari, so the menu points to no App Store app.
Where is poker?
Poker has its own section in the main menu, apart from the casino lobby. We did not open a poker table during the check.
