Who is responsible for your data
The controller is the 1winsonline.ng editorial team; see “Who publishes 1winsonline.ng” below. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected]. We answer requests within 30 days.
This policy covers 1winsonline.ng only. It does not cover 1win.ng, which has its own Privacy Policy and Cookie Information linked in its footer.
What happens when you read a page
We tested this ourselves on 13.10.2026 in a fresh browser across three pages of the site. The site set no cookies while the pages were read and wrote nothing to local storage.
Page delivery through Cloudflare
The site runs through Cloudflare. To deliver a page, Cloudflare has to receive the request your browser sends, which includes your IP address, browser type and the address of the page. Cloudflare handles that under its own privacy terms.
Visit counts without cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views in totals without setting cookies. We see figures such as how many times a page was opened. We do not see names or phone numbers, and we do not build a profile of any reader.
When you tap a partner link
Links to 1win.ng go through our tracker at redir.1winsonline.ng. After a tap, the tracker sets one technical cookie that lasts about a day, so that the visit can be credited to this site. We do not put your name, phone number or any account detail into it.
Once 1win.ng opens, its own rules apply. Anything you type there, from a +234 phone number to a password or ID document, goes to 1win and is covered by 1win’s Privacy Policy, not this one. We never receive your 1win login details or see your balance.
When you email us
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address, the message and any screenshot you attach. We use them only to answer you and, if you report an error, to fix the page. We keep the message as long as we need it for that and to keep a record of corrections.
Please do not send us passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, your BVN or copies of ID. We have no use for them. If you send any by mistake, tell us and we will delete the message.
Who else sees data
- Cloudflare, which delivers the pages and counts visits.
- Our email provider, which stores the messages you send us.
- 1win, only after you tap a partner link, and only under its own policy.
We do not sell reader data and we do not share email addresses with 1win or anyone else for marketing.
Your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023
The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 gives you rights over personal data held about you. You can ask us:
- whether we hold data about you, and for a copy;
- to correct it if it is wrong;
- to delete it;
- to stop using it for a purpose you object to.
Send the request to [email protected] from the email address the request is about, so we can match it. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Readers under 18
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly hold data about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has emailed us, write to us and we will delete the message.
Changes to this policy
When what we collect changes, for example if a new tool would set cookies, we update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live. The cookie details, with steps to clear them on a phone, are on the 1winsonline cookie policy page. The terms for using the site are on the 1winsonline terms of use.
