The form has two required fields and one optional line. It asks for no name, no email, no address and no document at this point. The details you leave out now are asked for later, when you press “Withdraw”.

The phone number does double duty. It is the account you register, and the site states that the Phone tab of the login form asks for that same number with your password. Use a line you will keep for years, not a spare SIM you might let lapse.
How to register 1win in Nigeria
The whole 1win registration on the mobile site is one screen. Get these ready before you open it, so you do not stop halfway to find a code or think up a password.

The route through the form
These are the steps as the form appeared to us in an Android browser on 1win.ng.
- Type 1win.ng into the address bar yourself. You see the dark home screen with the bottom bar.
- Open the registration form. You see the phone field with +234 already in front of it.
- Enter your number after the +234 prefix. You see the digits fill the field next to the code.
- Type a password of 8 characters or more. Mix letters and digits; do not reuse your bank or wallet PIN.
- Tap “Add promo code” and enter NAIJA1WIN, or leave the line closed.
- Check herepressing Register is your consent to the 18+ rule, the Terms and the Privacy Policy. There is no tick box to stop you, so read the Terms before this tap.
That is where our check ended. The site states that no separate confirmation step follows in the form, but because we did not submit it, we cannot tell you what the next screen looks like.
Where NAIJA1WIN goes, and what it gives
NAIJA1WIN goes into the “Add promo code” line before you press Register. It gives the standard welcome package of up to 500% + 500 free spins over the first four deposits, the same package the bonus card describes. It does not add anything on top of that card, and we did not test the code by action.
The package starts working only when you pay in, so the code itself puts nothing in the account at sign-up. The minimum deposit, the bonus cap and the wagering for the first payment are on the bonus card that NAIJA1WIN unlocks; read them before the first deposit, not after.

Once the account exists, you come back in through the login form. The site states it has Phone and Email tabs, and the guide to logging in after you register covers the “Forgot your password?” link and what to do if the number stops working.
The documents come later
Nothing in the sign-up step asks for ID. Pressing “Withdraw” opens “Identity verification” before any withdrawal form, and support told us it accepts a passport, a driver’s licence or a residence permit. The identity check you meet at the first withdrawal also needs proof of address, so keep a recent bank statement where you can find it.

1win app registration
The 1win.ng menu also offers an app: “1win for Android” on Android phones and a home-screen web app through Safari on iPhone. We did not open an account through either, so the app’s sign-up screen is not described here. The iPhone web app opens the same 1win.ng pages as the browser; for the Android app we cannot say until it is installed. If you prefer the app, follow the install steps before you register in the app and keep the same number ready.
The form we saw had no email field, so an email sign-up route did not appear in our check. If you want an email on the account for the login form’s Email tab, ask in the live chat under “Personal account | Verification” once the account exists; we did not test adding one.
Mistakes that cost time later
Most problems with a new account show up weeks after the form, at the cashier or the login screen. These are the ones the form itself sets up:
- A number in a relative’s or friend’s name. The account then rests on a SIM you do not control, and your ID at verification will carry a different name.
- A lookalike address from a forwarded link or a search result. The form looks the same; the site behind it may not be 1win.ng.
- A password reused from email or banking. If one leaks, both go.
- A typo in the number. Read the digits after +234 once more before the last tap, because that number is also your login.
- Pressing Register before reading the Terms. The consent is given at that tap.

The 1win sign up is quick and plain: two fields, one optional code, and a button that tells you what it means. It loses marks for what it pushes later, since the identity check waits until your first withdrawal, and because our check did not see the screen after Register.
It suits someone with their own +234 line and a password manager who wants an account open quickly and is ready to show ID later.
Who should skip it: anyone who wants to register with an email address only, or who prefers a sign-up that checks ID at the start.

Do I need my NIN or BVN to open the account?
No, the form we saw asked only for a phone number and a password. Documents come up at the identity check before withdrawals, where support named a passport, a driver's licence or a residence permit.
Can I sign up without a promo code?
Yes, the "Add promo code" line is optional and the form works without it. The code only matters if you want the welcome package tied to it.
Does 1win give a bonus just for registering?
No. The welcome package is paid on the first four deposits, and the sign-up form itself shows no reward.
How old do I have to be?
You must be 18 or older. Pressing Register is your confirmation of the 18+ rule.
Can I register from a laptop?
